And when having tasty Thai food at one of the islands you will regain your powers easily. At the end of a wonderful day at the sea with hundreds of new impressions we will return to the mainland. The Surin Islands are 5 dreamlike islands, at about 100 km north of Khao Lak. They are not as known as the Similan Islands, but in no way inferior. Known for its colorful coral reefs and its living underwater world it fascinates many divers and even while snorkeling one can see a lot of the natural beauty. The islands abundantly covered with vegetation and surrounded by turquoise water are an almost untouched paradise. Fantastic coral reefs in combination with various types of fish and white sandy beaches invite you to stay. The Surin Islands are truly perfect for snorkeling, swimming and relaxing. Therefore we have to snorkel stops of 45 minutes each and some more time on one of the a bit more hidden beaches. We will reach it by long-tail boat, to enjoy a tasty Thai lunch in the sun. As the Surin islands are the only inhabited archipelago, you will get the chance to visit the small fishing village with original wooden huts and own culture. Traditionally the Moken, a group of sea-faring people used to live on their houseboats at least half of a year. Living together in a village on land was only temporarily common during monsoon season. Now they started to settle down, but they still own an impressive knowledge related to underwater hunting and diving. Your tour guide will give you some interesting information according to island life and if you like to you can buy one of the beautifully manufactured souvenirs as a memory of another good day in Thailand.

Khao Sok is one of the biggest and oldest national parks worldwide. It is what you would consider a real jungle. And exactly here you get the chance to be paddled on a canoe through the overwhelming nature. The river is flowing calmly, passing single jungle huts, ancient trees and other exotic plants. In the trees you might find a sleeping snake and sometimes monkeys are playing close to the water. Afterwards we offer you some tasty Thai buffet in a wonderful atmosphere at the Rock and Treehouse Resort. Eat as much as you want and enjoy a nice talk with your companions or let the fascinating impressions of the morning slowly sink it, before we continue our tour. In the elephant camp the sensitive and proud giants are already waiting to show you their home. Feed, play and bath with the gentle giants (no riding). In the end you will have seen Khao Sok from different sides, spend time on a river and on an elephant. You will have eaten Thai food and learned something about the fauna and flora of the national park. After a day full of new impressions we are going to bring you back to your hotel, where you can still wallow in memories.
We take you on an adventurous day tour to the lake, limestone cliffs and rainforest. Follow your experienced ranger into the jungle and find a landscape that may remind you of Jurassic Park.
We head off to the Rajaprabha Dam to continue our tour by long tail boat on the CheowLan Lake, where a breath-taking landscape will surround you. High rising limestone cliffs and green-shining rainforest in an idyllic atmosphere as well as the enormous range of the lake are simply impressing. A one-two hour trek with our experienced tour guide will take you deep into the jungle and later you explore one of the many caves to admire stalactites and stalagmites. To regain your powers you can enjoy a delicious lunch at the restaurant of the bamboo raft houses in the middle of the lake.

We start our journey on the water the traditional way – by one of the beautiful decorated Thai long-tail boats. We will drive along the green mangrove jungle, which is amongst others habitat of lizards, snakes, monkeys and different bird species. Passing by a fascinating karst landscape we will reach the worldwide famous James Bond Island, from which you will have the perfect view on the most popular limestone of that area. KoTapu, the James Bond Rock, is a common tourist attraction since the release of the movie “The Man with the Golden Gun” with Roger Moore as British secret agent 007. After a quick stop we will move to a canoe station. There you can lay back and enjoy nature, while an experienced paddle guide will take care of you. He will take you close to hundreds of year old stone formations, to caves and mangroves. We will continue our tour by visiting a fishing village build on pillars in the water. The sea nomads living here will warmly welcome you to some tasty Thai lunch. Full and satisfied you can take a short walk to discover the village and culture of the inhabitants. You might also find some nice souvenirs for yourself, family or friends. Later, we are going back to the mainland and by minivan to PhangNga Park to round up a beautiful day of culture with a temple and caves. Sometimes you can also see wild monkeys there.

Hong Island is like a dream come true for adventurers and nature lovers. It is one of Thailand’s most beautiful islands, but still an insider’s tip. Good for us, as there are only a few visitors. Its name is based on eroded caves, which lie in the center of the island. Well hidden, it shelters a lake with small sea access. The only way inside can be passed during a short time slot (of about 1 h) and only once a day. When the tides allow to, one can enter inside the Hong Island by canoe. Otherwise, if there is low tide, the caves are dry and sharp-edged stones as well as mud block the entrance. At high tide the access is completely under water. This little natural wonder makes it even more spectacular. Besides Hong Island we take you to a cave with bats, another exciting place close to mangrove jungles and limestone karsts. Be one of a few to see the natural beauty deep inside of PhangNga Bay, as it is a unique experience you definitely should not miss. With a stop at the beautiful restaurant of the fishing village Koh Panyee you can gain back some power by enjoying delicious local food. Furthermore there will be some time to discover the environment. To round up a beautiful day of culture we will visit the PhangNga Park when we arrive back on mainland. According to the season we take you easy-going to the most exciting places where you can amongst others try canoeing in silent nature. You will get the chance to paddle by yourself down a river and past the typical landscape of South Thailand. At the waterside you will find big palm trees and durian plants. The smell of blossoming flowers will let you travel into the land of dreams. Luckily, we are only a small group and there will be no other tourists to disturb us while exploring the rainforest up close and in person. In the middle of the day we can recharge all together with delicious Thai food at a local restaurant. Then, while cruising with our special designed pickup truck you can lay back, relax and at the same time enjoy the amazing panoramic view. Our driver takes you on a bumpy ride off the beaten tracks to a beautiful waterfall. The different landscapes of Thailand will pass by in front of your eyes and a light wind will tumble your hair. During the whole day you will have ample opportunities to enjoy the jungle’s sounds, wildlife and some of the rarest plant around here. Before we get back to the hotel we will stop at a temple and complete the day with a small insight into Buddhism and a nice last picture of the big Buddha sitting on top of it.

Visit the Tsunami Memorial boat 813, a Thai military boat that was brought by the wave into the main land. Learn about the catastrophe that happened in 2004. Refresh yourself with a ride on the most ancient Thai transportation on the river, bamboo rafts. Be attentive to your paddler boy, he might show you wild animals that sleep along the river above you on the tree branches as snakes, monkeys, spiders, monitor lizards etc. Following, you might be curious about the Queen Turtle conservation center project. Following, you will head to Tone Pariwat Waterfall. To access this waterfall, a small trek through the jungle is needed and then enjoy a cool and refreshing natural shower.
